About Me

Hi! I'm Kristen.

I help women turn their love/hate relationship with food and their body, into one of freedom and confidence. I help women stop dreading life because of their weight.

I help women gain a sense of control and freedom around food. I want women to stop dieting for good - because life is so delicious when you stop beating yourself up to lose weight. And you deserve to live a delicious life.

Maybe you are here because you just finished a pint of ice cream and feel hopeless. Maybe you are here because you keep thinking "I should have lost the weight by now." Maybe you are here because you want to have energy again and be healthy for your kids.

Maybe you feel lost and completely disconnected from what makes you happy, or even just content.

Whatever reason you have for reading this and being here, thank you.

My goal is to inspire you to gain back control, start trusting yourself, and do things that light you up again (like enjoying an ice cream sundae without guilt). I want to share with you ways you can find your passion; stop the binging; incorporate real joy in your life (not false joy, like food).

If I do my job right, you will have a plan in place to stop sabotaging yourself when it comes to weight loss.  You will also have a fresh perspective on why you keep gaining and losing the same weight over and over again, and what you can do to ditch the weight for good. We will identify the thoughts and behaviors that are standing between you and true happiness. Once we manage this, everything else is a piece of cake!

If you are willing to do some self-exploration (in a really fun way), educate yourself, and do the work, you can achieve any goal you set for yourself.

Why I Do What I Do

I went on my first diet at 11 years old. This is when my relationship with my body and food changed – for the worst. You can read more about my personal journey with weight loss in My Worst Relationship - #1 in the Learn to Lose It Weight Loss Series. I am happy to say that after 20 years of dieting, and basing my worth on my weight, I have learned to lose weight without deprivation, but by self-exploration and curiosity. I have a new found respect for my body. This is a much more liberating way of living compared to dieting non-stop.

Losing weight dominated a good portion of my life. Now that I have managed to find peace and happiness in these areas, life is so much more enjoyable. I want to help you experience your own peace and happiness.

The Official Bio

I hold a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration from SUNY Oswego and a Masters in Counseling from Syracuse University. I am currently a life coach in training with Dr. Martha Beck, life coach and monthly columnist for O, The Oprah Magazine. Previous to starting my own business I worked in higher education.
